The tested turn/tilt window with vent dimensions of 1210 x 1890mm (47.64 x 74.41in) withstood a shock wave of 169 kPa generated by a blast 19 m (62.34 feet) from the test unit. The unit therefore achieved EXV 19 (E) classification in accordance with ISO 16933.
With the ADS 90 XR door system, Schüco offers explosion-resistant system solutions up to class EXV19 (E) for outward-opening, single and double-leaf doors. In the explosion test, proof was obtained for a leaf dimensions of 1100 x 2250 mm (43.31 x 88.58in).
These system approvals can be used as a summary of the system features for the Declaration of Performance and CE marking.
